Great atmosphere, felt comfortable with first visit. Mr. Apel, Amber, Kasia have given me hope and many different options. Everyone was great and Im blessed to have found them to help with my dental needs. This was my 4th different dentist I seen but Im done looking now that I found you guys. Great staff and clinical team. My appointment was consult only, so no clinical work done. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the exam and pleasant vibe of everyone in the office. *bonus* I didn't feel like I was being rushed or run through an assembly line. Brevard best kept secret for dentistry. NOTE... They do not take insurance and payment is due at time of service, but work with you for any reimbursement.

Absolutely FANTASTIC from start to finish! I just had my very first visit with Dr Apel and his A-Team! That's my new name for the whole gang there at Designing Smiles Dentistry. Kasia, Amber, Victoria, Traci.....everybody there is top notch, extremely compassionate, helpful, efficient and FUN! (Seriously! It was really comfortable and fun there. Enjoyable, even! How often can you say THAT about your dentist's office??😅) I also loved that Dr Apel explained everything he was doing as he went along. That right there took my "dental anxiety" level down about 10 notches. The initial exam was the most thorough one I have ever had in all my 61 years, and I ended up with a much better understanding of all the complexities pertaining to my bite and past issues. I found Dr Apel because I had been researching local dentists for months since I've been transitioning to dental care covered by the VA. My initial visit became more urgent because an old veneer broke off into pieces and couldn't be reattached. Dr Apel not only put me ease about my missing tooth but he built me a new one the very next day. They even squeezed me in for a cleaning appt that same day with Traci, who is fantastic. I walk

I have an extreme fear of the dentist. From the moment I spoke with Kashia on the phone, I felt a sense of comfort. When I walked into the office, it was the same thing. I felt at ease, with lower anxiety and stress. Dr. Apel has a wonderful bedside manner and takes his time explaining all of your options. There wasn't a moment when I was in there that I felt embarrassed for what my mouth had become. On the day I needed to have a procedure, again, everyone was comforting, they helped me when I had an anxiety attack, and I got through it. I would recommend this office to anyone! They take their time, they get to know you, and they genuinely care about you. I appreciate everything they have done to me.
